The difference between a drip irrigation system and regular irrigation system is the size of the landscape.

Basically, drip irrigation systems are used for watering smaller areas or plants that have a specific watering schedule. Regular irrigation systems are better suited for larger areas that need more amount of water.

So depending on your landscape size, a better choice for those with a larger landscape containing plants that need more watering would benefit from a regular irrigation system. If you have a smaller landscape or a smaller space that requires a specific schedule, then a drip irrigation would be best for you.

This is a common question among homeowners who want to maintain their lawn and keep it nice and green!

Basically, a good rule of thumb is to water it with about one inch of water per week. It usually takes about 30 minutes to get to a half an inch of water. Watering three times per week for 20 minutes will give your lawn about an inch of water.
